Importance of Education

Tue, 28 Feb 2017 05:06:00 +0000

Alan Bloom once said, “Education is the movement from darkness to light”. When looked beyond its conventional boundaries, education forms the essence of the deeds or actions of all people. Most people feel that education is a necessity and it is used as a tool for reaching a specific target. Just like food is necessary for the health of everyone’s body, education develops the personality of people, provides physical and mental standards and in many ways transforms the living status of people. In order to distinguish between right and wrong things, a person should be educated. One of the primary initiatives of the society should be to educate people. A kid grows towards success and wisdom if given adequate education to him. Education is the helpline and baseline for a person to survive in the society. An educated person has the wisdom and intelligence to distinguish between right and wrong deeds. The right education makes a person intellectually strong and enables us to impart knowledge to the coming generation. Education boosts the confidence of a person and helps in building the personality of an individual. School Education lays the cornerstone in everyone’s life. The education scheme is divided into three divisions – primary education, secondary education, and higher secondary education. All categories have their own importance and benefits. Primary education is the foundation, where you learn about the basic etiquettes required in life like sharing, being disciplined. A person needs more than elementary education to sharpen his skills. Thus, secondary education prepares you for higher education. Secondary school is important because this is the stage where students become computer literate and interface with the technology of the modern world. Higher secondary education prepares the ultimate path of the future and paves a way to prepare us for the whole life. The world is competitive and education is a necessity to keep our feet firm in this world. Education plays a paramount role in the modern technological world. There are many ways to enhance the education level. With MOOC being the latest trend, the scenario of education has changed in many ways. Education has become cheaper and parents with less monthly income can now afford to educate their kids using the education mode. Admissions in renowned and prestigious universities are now possible with fewer fees through distant learning. Men and women together make a healthy and educated society. Hence, it is important to for both men and women to be equally educated. When a girl child is uneducated, she is more vulnerable to trafficking, according to the United Nations Inter-agency Project on human Trafficking. The success of women largely determines the sustainability and progress of all regions. As responsible citizens of the country, everyone should strive for a better future and development of the country. For excelling in exams, a student should always solve previous year papers. Maths and Physics papers are typically tough for students. Search for cbse previous year question papers 2014 physics, 2015 and similarly for other years.[...]

Some of the benefits of drinking water are maintaining your balance of bodily fluids, help in controlling calories, energize muscles, keeps your skin glowing and many more. Let the water bottles accompany you in the exam hall. Sip in water frequently during your exams. 2.       Green tea: The flavor of green tea might not go down well with everyone but trust. Green tea makes you smarter. The very small amount of caffeine in green tea creates a different type of stimulant than the heavy laden caffeinated drinks. With no added sugar present, it increases metabolism. Green tea being an antioxidant boosts health and flushes out toxic substances that have invaded the body making you lethargic. 3.       Fruits and vegetable juices: Juices extracted from fruits naturally can help your memory and a source of energy for studying. The high-glycemic contents in fruit juices enter your bloodstream shortly and quickly after you drink it thus boosting up your energy. Having packaged fruit juices might not be a wise decision as it contains added sugar, multiplying the level of fatigue. 4.       Milk: Milk which is rich in acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter excites your neurons and helps in improving your memory. Added to this the health benefits of a glass of milk are prevention from major chronic ailments, a source of calcium, vitamins A and B and rehydration, to name a few. Have a glass of milk every day before you hit the hay as milk is known to be sleep inducing. A good sleep will ensure you waking up with a sound body and mind gearing up you for an all-new energetic day. 5.       Caffeinated drinks: While consuming a small amount of coffee is not too harmful, drinking a ton of it can prove to be lethal. Drinking three or more cups of coffee a day can lead to a physical addictiveness to this substance which is not appreciable. Though caffeine may provide a quick boost of energy and elevate your mood, it may cause anxiety and you might just crash up. So, one needs to take extra precautions when having a dose of caffeine during exam hours. [...]

Students often shudder at the name of Viva exams. The time when you have to answer the continuous questions being thrown at you by a whole team of teachers sitting in front of you can make anyone lose their confidence. Moreover, in the final board exams, you have to face an external teacher who is from some other school. The fear of the unknown even makes the brightest student go blank. We know that Viva seems to be scary to almost all of you, but it is not that difficult. All you need is to follow some rules to ace the viva voce.Dress appropriately – As you know that the first impression is the last impression. The first thing that the teacher will look at is your uniform to form an impression of how you might be as a student. Once that is formed, usually in the first few seconds, you will have to try exceptionally hard to alter that perception. Wear clean, properly ironed, neat and tidy clothes. Please leave your earrings, necklaces at home. If you’re habitual at makeup, make sure it is minimalistic. Avoid exposing tattoos or any other mark on your body that might tick off the teacher. Your shirt needs to stay inside the trousers/ skirt and the teacher most certainly would not be impressed if you flash your inner wear.Be punctual - The last thing you want is annoying the teachers by being late. Try to reach early so that you do not lose marks on punctuality. Moreover, do not try out your various innovative styles by making excuses. Just humbly apologise and enter.Manners – Greet your teachers and ask permission to go inside the class instead of dashing into the room. Do not go and sit before they ask you to. All this may seem very unimportant but is surely taken into account by the teachers.Do not panic – Even if you are stressed, try not to panic and lose your calm. A stressed mind can make you forget things that you had learnt.Be confident – Always wear a smile and be confident. Personality matters a lot.Be specific - Be specific to the question and give a simple answer. Try not to concoct stories. Beating around the bush will just annoy the teachers. If you do not know the answer, just say sorry and that you do not know it.Notebook and stationary - Some students forget to bring their practical notebook, which holds a major portion of the practical marks. Make sure that you carry your practical notebook and stationary like a pen or a pencil with you.Do not be overconfident – Being confident is a good thing, but having an air of overconfidence is not taken in the right stride by your mentors.Prepare well – Make sure that you know all the things in your practical notebook thoroughly. Most of the questions are asked from the practical notebook itself. Prepare the concepts related to the experiments like the principle of the experiment, observations and conclusion thoroughly.
